Sfizio Moda

For the Fall/Winter 17-18 season, Sfizio is inspired by movement, colours, fabrics and shapes that shake up global trends and looks with their revolutionary style.
ANIMAL BAKER Animal prints are the hot ticket in the first corner, where the edgy style of Folies Bergère’s star Josephine Baker blends with glamorous, feminine elements to create a visual balance between soft, feminine volumes and silhouettes and bold faux leather accents. Long dresses, midi-skirts and the back of T-shirts are personalised with pleats and lace details. Ethno-chic style is punctuated with linear black and white macro-checks, to play it all down with a modern twist.
PURE LACE In this theme, lace takes on a clean, minimalist radical-chic flavour to create highly feminine styles emphasised by contrast details. Puffed sleeves, trimmings, flounces and bows contrast with 1960s-inspired silhouettes to create feminine yet bold looks.
POP ART FLAVOR The inspiration behind this line comes from the colours and irony of 1970s pop art, reinterpreted with patched prints, in which small Andy Warhol-style flowers blend with stripes to create playful, flowing dresses. Cherry red and military green, patched prints and pleats emphasise this dynamic, light-hearted mood, perfect for a transitional autumn wardrobe.
COCO REVOLUTION It is based on a fusion of feminine and masculine details, a philosophy developed by the legendary Coco Chanel in the 1920s. A masculine shirt is turned into a flowing chemise dress with collar, a herringbone tweed coat is embellished with a pink fur collar, brooches and floral embroidery, and a waistcoat is reinterpreted with an uber-feminine, glamorous flair. Mannish herringbone tweed clashes with floral prints to create a modern, edgy mix, brought out by total-pink pieces.
THINK PINK The ultimate feminine colour, pink reveals its most interesting shades and screams “girl power” in this corner. Pink tulle and pleated velvet create a romantic atmosphere, with floral patches adding a touch of irony. Flounced skirts and dresses come in powder pink, while lace creates pink and burgundy stripes for elegant dresses paired with oversized floral jacquard patterns and pieces with sporty details, adding to the shades of this corner.
FLOWER POWER From the hippie movement to the present day, 1970s floral prints are uprooted from their original context and placed in a clean, sophisticated corner that plays with contrasts of royal blue and heathered grey. The contrast between these two moods creates a modern corner jazzed up by colourful accents that make the difference. Butterfly brooches, embroidered collars and precious details bring together 1970s prints and linear volumes to create elegant, eye-catching looks.
Lastly, there is the veritable "SFIZIO BAGS" ensemble that completes the mood of the collection featuring a modern shopper, a shoulder bag with micro studs and a saffiano bowling bag.
